This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Subua, a plant identification and care utility that helps users capture plant photos, review likely plant matches, save care cards, set watering reminders, and keep simple growth notes.

1. Information You Choose to Provide

Subua may process information that you actively add while using the app. This can include plant photos selected from your library or captured with the camera, plant names or labels you save, care reminders, watering status, growth notes, and other text you enter in connection with a plant record.

Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to scan a plant or select an image. You can deny or later change these permissions in your device settings, though some plant identification features may not work without access to the relevant permission.

2. Device, Purchase, and App Operation Data

The app may use basic device and app operation information needed to run, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service. This may include app version, device type, language or region settings, crash or performance signals, and general interaction events.

If you make an in-app purchase, Apple or the App Store processes the payment. Subua may receive purchase status, product identifiers, and entitlement information needed to unlock purchased content or restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

3. How Plant Information Is Used

Plant photos and care records are used to provide the features you request, such as producing likely plant identification results, showing care guidance, creating watering reminders, saving growth history, and restoring your saved plant workspace when you return to the app.

Identification results, care suggestions, and reminders are informational and may be approximate. You should use your own judgment when caring for plants, especially for rare, toxic, outdoor, or high-value plants.

4. Local Records and Retention

Some plant cards, images, reminders, and growth notes may be stored locally on your device so the app can reopen your plant shelf and care timeline. Locally stored data remains on the device unless it is removed by you, cleared through app controls, or removed when the app is uninstalled.

Where account, logout, or deletion controls are made available in the app, those controls are intended to clear the relevant app access state and local plant records associated with the app experience. App Store purchase records remain managed by Apple and may still be used for purchase restoration.

5. Service Providers and Platform Services

We may rely on platform providers and technical service providers for functions such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, purchase validation, fraud prevention, customer support, or basic app operations. These providers are expected to process information only as needed to provide their services to us or to comply with legal obligations.

Apple, the App Store, and your operating system may separately process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you download the app, manage permissions, make purchases, or use platform services.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose limited information when necessary to operate the app, respond to support requests, comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction involving the app.
